This past week, the kids have filled out a bit more. Agnes's post-meal belly, which typically looks as if she's swallowed a small rodent whole, protrudes a bit less, and Henry's legs and leaping abilities continue to strengthen and amaze.
It's been very peaceful and loving around our house. Everyone, including the humans, enjoy staying in bed as long as possible. Agnes, in particular, has been more affectionate and giving us the long rounds of the Pettibone purr, which is loud and seemingly endless.

Haven't been around for a few days and loved coming back to all the news. Thanks again for sharing!
They look so sleek and in such a state of well-being, two cats who know that they are thoroughly loved.
Looking forward to the new pictures. You've got the magic touch of capturing the mood of the moment for your cats, not just "this is what they look like."
That sounds wonderful, lying in bed with purring cats. It must be exciting to watch them grow into young adults. Plus, unlike human kids, you don't have to worry about their outgrowing their clothing and shoes! Well, aside from the occasional collar. A friend of mine has a toddler boy and she and her husband are seriously considering the savings involved in joining a nudist colony until the kid's about, oh, 40.
It's true, I agree with Annf; your pictures are a continuation of their days under the watchful paw of Charlene Butterbean! You might consider a line of cards of your own.....it's so nice being able to watch Agnes & Henry grow! I also love being able to experience another household where the kitty/person balance is enjoyed.
Those are two happy, healthy kittehs... and cute, too!

Checking in on this blog always makes me smile! I love watching Henry and Agnes growing up and enjoying their life with their humans.
